An ancient model of Patrick Stirling's glorious 8 foot single, the original designed and built for the Great Northern Railway in the late nineteenth century and a leading protagonist in the "Race to the North" pitted against the London, North Western's Precursors. No.1 is still preserved at the NRM - well worth a visit if only to go and see the most beautiful engine ever built

5 Inch Gauge Stirling Single (Clarksons) fine example scratch built by L.H.Watling 1982 been on Display ever since, the locomotive steamed for the first time this year and ran lovely hydraulic and steam tickets provided.

Beautful locomotive the tender has all the finesse detail as the full size, the locomotive runs lovely like a swiss Clock.  The locomotive has a drop ashpan , Mecahincal Oil Lubricator located at the  front of the loco , Mecahincal Drain cocks, ash Pan operating lever, by pass valve , axle pump, Tender hand Pump (Clarksons) Paint work all hand lined.

Prossional Silver Solder boiler by Alex Farmer the maker from Birminhgam, Well Known for building boilers with a unique castlated joint along the boiler barrle and silver soldered together to eliminate a but strap.
