4 " Scale DCC Fowler Showmans traction engine to the Plastows design.

Scratch built Fowler  Showmans Traction engine built to very high standard to the well known Princess design.

Steel boiler with expanded tubes,   feed by mechanical pump with bypass and injector. Twin Ramsbottom safety valves, 110 psi workig prssure water lifter mounted on offside  tank.  Three Speed, Four shaft with difffererential, detachable crane and wingle tree, detachable extension chimney,

Compound cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear, rod-operated draincocks for   cylinders, Pickering governor, Oil mechanical lubricator.

The engine is fitted with a 12 volt dynamo, working lights under the canapoy with meters and switchgear mounted on a control board under the canopy at the rear end and battery back up. , Hand brake left hand side, steering wheel right hand side..
