All items will be packaged well in order to withstand the delivery process. The cost of the required packaging is included in the price quoted. I recommend specialist locomotive carrying boxes for larger items such as locomotives and traction engines. This is a made to measure wooden box, which will ensure the locomotive is secure and does not get damaged in transits. Pallets will be dispatched via a local courier who offers a fast, reliable service with full insurance. Boxing and delivery is charged at cost.

Collection and Delivery

If you require delivery, please ask for a quote. If you would prefer to collect, you are welcome to visit the workshop by appointment. If you intend to collect I am happy to store your item free of charge for up-to 6 weeks. However, unless payment has been received after two months, the item will be offered for sale on the website again. Sorry if this sounds a little harsh, but I have had engines left for a considerable time which has consequently caused me a few problems to say the least, particularly in terms of storage.
